Weekend Tournament

Well, I have been itching to play a live tournament for about a month. If it weren't for that career described in the post doubled edged sword, I would have spent the entire two weeks in Tunica for the Circuit Event. I am playing as well as I ever have right now, and want to increase the cash flow as big as possible, especially for the $10,000 bankroll wanted for the 2006 WSOP. The bracelet is there to get!!!!

Anyway, Harrah's in Metropolis is hosting a $450 +50 NLHE tournament this weekend with a unique structure. There will be five qualifiers of 40 players each. The top four from each event will advance to the final event on Sunday night at 6:00 pm. If you make it until Sunday night, you cash. The winner is guaranteed $20,000 in cash and a seat in the 2006 WSOP final event. Enough said, I'm in. This would cover all wishes for 2006 WSOP, cash and seat. Oh yeah, I'm in. The structure is fast, to say the least. 2,000 to start with 25-50 blinds, doubling every thirty minutes. Okay, I will gear it up a notch and pick on any weak players I can find.

I have played poker with a lot of the players in western Kentucky, and unless they have been practicing their tournament games, I have to be a favorite to make it to the final event. On Sunday night, I really like my chances to get deep, especially if I can make the final five. My short handed game is working pretty good right now.

I will update next week. Until then,

Good Luck and See You at the Felt....................
